Ambassador on a new level?

I feel very fortunate to represent an amazing group of runners over on Twitter called @RunAtCan an Atlantic Canadian running group. Within the past 6 months some of the peeps have become ambassadors for various running related stuff.  Most of the peeps are NUUN hydration ambassadors and recently someone has become a compression sock ambassador. The thing I’m having a hard time to digest is these products I talk about & use often too. 

Why is it that some people get lucky and have their favourite brands give them stuff & others don’t? A selection process worth finding out. I’ve been very lucky to have stuff given to me via @ RunAtCan giveaways and a gift exchange but I’ve not been ambassador material YET. You never know what’s ahead!
