Extreme savings alert look at this folks (money in my hands)
Asics Gel Nimbus 17’s
I knew of this sale because I’m friends with my local lifestyle superstore (my local bike shop) on Facebook. I set off on Friday April 1st (not a prank) at about 11:30 to make sure I was there in plenty of time. I was early & shocked (not surprised) at the amount of people who were there. The sale started at noon with one women’s table & 2 men’s tables. I have a wide foot so I went at it with the men. Impressing myself as the men grabbed as fast as the women. It was a civil pursuit of a bargain. Not the stampede like pursuit that the movies are made of. Grabbing 3 boxes I set out to try them on and first tried a 9.5 (just a bit tight) then the 2 size 10’s. So tried one a red/black size 9.5 no go then opened a orange & blue size 10 (not bothering to try them on). I tried on the pair above & fell in love with the gel insole and the colour. So I have my first good pair of running sneakers.

I knew about the sale but was working. Do they do this every year?

I don’t know, they have sales at this time of year because of limited space to keep seasonal stock from previous year.
